dreams

Every mother wants the best for all her children but sometimes nature has other plans.I'm thankful that my kids are healthy and thriving in their own ways.Maybe now Umayr will still be fine but what I read is things start getting difficult when he reaches upper primary, especially with the traditional method of teaching which is not suitable for him. Guess that's where I come in.

If only I can stay home and also provide my kids with the best things in life. Unfortunately, I'm no tai tai nor heiress. Sometimes when I see my working friends' kids acting up, I'm glad I'm home and can discipline my own yet sometimes I wish I can send them to better schools and drive them around town to all the fun places.

As I've told Saf, when you don't work; u have the time but not the money, when u work; u don't have the time and all the money....

There are many things in life that I want. Who doesn't love money..Who doesn't love children..

But I guess, for some of us, they could cope managing both career and motherhood. Even for some of us who could cope with both they choose to stay-home to have more time with the kids. For me, it will be rather stressful having to be successful in both.

For now, I love being with the kids, but at times I procrastinate... instead of doing mother stuff, I do my stuff heh heh like blogging while he surfs Disney.com. It's a way to de-stress but sometimes I regret having spend lesser time with them though they are just beside me.

I've a Punjabi friend who is doing great as a mum even though she is a career woman. The 3 hours she has in the evening with her daughter is spend quite effectively - talking, singing, activities and what-nots.

Good schools?Hmmm...at the end of the day, it's the mum or the family who would have to play the role to ensure what has been learnt is reinforced.. I think a child can turn out mediocre too if what has been learnt is not reinforced.

Sorry for having a verbal diarrhoea :) Actually I have more to say hah hah
