Cookies n Cream
We baked chocolate chip cookies today and the kids loved it. I cheated though, I used Betty Crocker's pre-mix flour which just needed butter and egg. Sometimes, I think homeschool mummies need all the short cut they can take though it gets tempting to do it all the time. I admire friends who can do things from scratch but I need a lot of pushing when it comes to cooking.
We went to Asian Civilisations Museum yesterday, and especially enjoyed the jewels from the Mughal empire exhibition. There was a colouring table, stamping and dress up corners for the kids. I of course loved the jewels and I found it most interesting that they used jade too. There were some exhibits in one gallery that I thought kids would find disturbing, so choose your galleries, although you need to get past them to go to certain galleries, this is where parents get to be creative.
