Is it gonna be March already?

I was feeling the strain of homeschooling last week or more of boredom with the routine and it became hard concentrating that my children were asking me about work and I'm like saying 'Oh, maybe we can do that next time or tomorrow.'Maybe it was the long weekend that was so fun, going back to school was a dampener...funny, this is the mother talking.

This is where I go on remote and try to pretend I'm interested and usually it's the kids who help me; like Ihsan who wanted to find out what 'xylem' and 'phloem' were after a botany lesson and ended up listing the factfile of a few dozen countries in his geography book after finding a long list at the back of his dictionary or Umayr who, of all things, insisted that he needs to do his Arabic writing and narration when my mind was at Ion. Sofiyya somehow managed to see the joke in learning about counting teens and was laughing and making silly jokes as she worked on her materials with me.

Hopefully, this lingering feeling will end but homeschooling should be taken as professionally as any teaching job. So mummy went back to reading her homeschooling book for inspiration ( The Well Trained Mind) and is back to planning her lesson instead of just following the manual sequence that she has compiled for this year(that's my remote mode data system).

Anyway CNY was a blast (and very tiring); we went to my parents on Saturday, IMM on Sunday, Pasir Ris Park on Monday and East Coast Park on Tuesday. I do realise that things are more hectic on holidays and weekends. Compared to them, schooldays are a breather, not?
