Chill Thursday
We were pretty tired out from Wednesdays adventures and started school pretty late today. I worked with the middle schoolers first.
As we are going to the Collider exhibition, I decided we should start on physics for the new term.
I explained in brief about the exhibition and showed them a video about atoms. The children then read a short article on an introduction to atoms
and they had to make a model of it.
That is Umayr's model. I was happy that he was able to sit and focus on it. The Collider exhibition visit is actually for my eldest but I decided to bring my other kids along as they had activities for them too.
For Sarah, we introduced labels for the geometric shapes. After that we talked about the Monsters of the Sea exhibition we went to yesterday as we went through the photos I took.
As an extension, we watched Bill Nye's Ocean Exploration. Sarah then wanted to work on her solar system mat.
By this time I was hungry but Sarah wanted to make a toy for Aisyah. Afternoon will be school for my eldest and Math time for the middle- schoolers.
