Monsters of the Sea
Yesterday, Sarah told me she wanted to learn more about sharks, so I thought of bringing her to the library to look for some resources.
In the morning I remembered seeing an exhibition on deep sea creatures from the past being held at the science centre.
Hence, after lunch I packed the girls off to the centre, much to their delighted surprise. The exhibits included models of the creatures and accompanying facts about them.
There were also fossil samples, activity corners and a video show. Each visitor also receives an activity book, which my 10-year old enjoyed filling up, and she is not into animals like Sarah.
Sarah enjoyed the life-sized models that could move and the activity corners. I of course loved how I can make use of the pictures I took and the experience for Sarah's next theme- Marine Life.
Thereafter, we had ice-cream and went to the library where Sarah left with a stack of books on marine life and other animals.
